    800 Series: Left Tooth

    $8.06
The CEI 800 Series teeth feature a patented cutting angle which is similar to a saw blade. It produces a slicing action compared to the impacting/tearing action of competitor's teeth. The CEI 800 Series teeth are available in left, right, or straight.
    SKU: 8003.CEI

A special tungsten carbide tip is silver soldered in place and protected by the stone collar. The tooth's stone collar protects the carbide from rocks and other debris which can damage carbide. It also provides engineered strength to the tooth-pocket assembly and means there is no need for the timely procedure of measuring the depth of the cutter teeth - simply push them in all the way.

The tooth shank is approximately .040" thicker than the channel in the pocket so the pocket closes in on the shank to hold it securely. The pocket does not need to be removed to change the teeth. Simply loosen the bolts, remove existing teeth, replace with new teeth and retorque the bolts to manufacturer's specifications.

How do I tell the difference between left and right teeth?

Whichever direction the tooth is curving; that is the tooth's type. (see image to the right)

For Dual 800 Series - Hold the teeth with the carbide tip parallel to the ground (as shown to the right). Whichever direction the tooth is curving, this is the tooth's type.

Note: Teeth are put in a pocket with the patent number facing outward.

For 500, 800, 800V and S-Pro Series - Hold the tooth so the cutting tip is facing you and the carbide tip is parallel to the ground (as shown to the right). Whichever direction the tooth is curving; this is the tooth's type.

For Gladiator Series - There is no left or right teeth as Gladiator teeth can fit on either side of the wheel. Gladiator teeth are instead available in bent or straight. (Third Photo)
